Sony Walkman

TPS-L2 had a "hotline" button which activated a built-in microphone, partially overriding the sound from the cassette, and allowing one user to talk to the other over the music. 
Braun T3
Pocket radio

Designer: Dieter Rams

Year produced: 1958

The Braun T3 transistor radio was designed by Dieter Rams in collaboration with the Ulm School of Design and was the first pocket portable transistor radio to come from Braun. It’s commonly said that the Apple iPod was inspired by Braun’s T3 pocket radio.

Portable Transistor Radio and Phonograph

Year produced: 1959

The Braun TP1 is both a radio and a gramophone, completely independent of each other but housed in the same stylish casing. The TP1 owes its existence to the transistor revolution, which enabled miniaturization and mass-production of previously cumbersome and expensive devices of all kinds.
